Alternative

A JEFIT alternative that stays a lifting log

JEFIT is one of the older names in gym logs. People usually go looking for an alternative when the app feels crowded, when they want a cleaner iPhone flow, or when they want the plan itself to come from a video or a photo instead of a blank template. This page is that comparison, without pretending we audited JEFIT's current price list.

What to compare

Both products are workout logs. The useful questions are about the session, not the logo. Can you record a set in a couple of taps? Can you keep a program and change it? Can a training partner open the same plan?

Check JEFIT's current listing for its own plans, watch support, and import tools. Those change, and a blog post should not freeze them in place.

What TrackYourLift is built to do

TrackYourLift is an iPhone and Apple Watch log. You keep programs, log sets, see PRs and charts, and share a plan with a friend. You can log weight and reps on Apple Watch. The Watch app needs the iPhone nearby. It is not a watch that stores the workout on its own and syncs later.

YouTube links and photos are sent to cloud AI. TrackYourLift does not run that model on your iPhone. Paste a YouTube workout, or photograph a handwritten note or the equipment you actually have. TrackYourLift is free to use, with an optional Pro upgrade. Pro is $1.99/month. Pro AI is $3.99/month and includes cloud AI program building. YouTube import uses AI credits: Pro includes a monthly allotment, and Pro AI does not meter those credits. Photo import is a Pro AI feature.

Who should switch

Stay with a log you already trust if your history is there and the screen still feels fast. Move if you want the program to start from a video or a photo, or if you train with someone and want to send them the actual plan.

Bring your next block across by rebuilding the days you still use. A clean program of the lifts you perform beats a full archive you will not open.

Does TrackYourLift import a JEFIT backup?

The app imports and exports Hevy-compatible CSV. It does not claim a JEFIT file import. Recreate the program, or export through a format both apps understand if JEFIT offers one.

Will my old PRs come with me?

Only if you log them again or import a file the app can read. A new log starts its PR timeline from the sessions you record in it.

Is this a free replacement?

TrackYourLift is free to use, with optional Pro and Pro AI. It is not a promise that every JEFIT feature has a twin.
