Alternative
Boostcamp alternative
Boostcamp made its name by putting real programs, the kind coaches publish, inside an app you can follow. That is a different product from a blank log. If you are comparing them, decide whether you want a library of named programs or a log that will hold whatever plan you already trust.
Follow a program, or keep a log
A program app is at its best when you want someone else's block: a 5x5, a hypertrophy split, a peaking plan. A log is at its best when the plan changes because your gym, your partner, or your shoulder changed.
TrackYourLift includes starter structures for push/pull/legs, upper/lower, full body, 5x5, and 5/3/1. Those pages explain the split. They are not a catalog of every coach's spreadsheet.
When the program is a video or a notebook
A lot of good training never ships as an app template. It is a YouTube day or a card in a notebook. YouTube links and photos are sent to cloud AI. TrackYourLift does not run that model on your iPhone. Paste the link or photograph the note and edit the draft into a program you can log.
TrackYourLift is free to use, with an optional Pro upgrade. Pro is $1.99/month. Pro AI is $3.99/month and includes cloud AI program building. YouTube import uses AI credits: Pro includes a monthly allotment, and Pro AI does not meter those credits. Photo import is a Pro AI feature.
A fair way to decide
Choose the program library if you want to press start on a published block and not think about exercise selection. Choose TrackYourLift if you want the sets on your phone and watch, a friend on the same plan, and a place to put a program that did not come from a template menu.
Confirm Boostcamp's current program list and price in their app. This page does not quote it.
Can I run 5x5 in TrackYourLift?
Yes. There is a 5x5 program page, and you can build the days yourself. The StrongLifts app is a separate product, compared on its own page.
Does TrackYourLift include every Boostcamp program?
No. If a coach publishes a specific block, follow it there or copy the days you want into TrackYourLift by hand, from a link, or from a photo.
