How to perform this exercise

  1. Sit at a seated cable row machine with feet on the platform and knees slightly bent.
  2. Grip a wide straight bar with an overhand grip, hands wider than shoulder-width.
  3. Sit upright with back straight, arms fully extended in front of you.
  4. Pull the bar toward your lower chest by driving your elbows back and out wide.
  5. Squeeze your shoulder blades together at peak contraction.
  6. Slowly extend back to the starting position.
  7. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
