How to perform this exercise

  1. Sit at a lat pulldown machine and adjust the thigh pad to secure your legs.
  2. Grip the bar with hands wider than shoulder-width, palms facing forward.
  3. Lean back slightly and pull the bar down to your upper chest.
  4. Squeeze your lats and shoulder blades together at the bottom.
  5. Slowly extend your arms back to the starting position and repeat for 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps.
