How to perform this exercise

  1. Stand at the universal press machine cable station and attach a straight bar or rope to the high pulley.
  2. Grip the bar with an overhand grip, hands shoulder-width apart.
  3. Tuck your elbows into your sides and keep them stationary throughout the movement.
  4. Push the bar down until your arms are fully extended, squeezing your triceps at the bottom.
  5. Slowly allow the bar to rise back to the starting position, keeping your elbows pinned.
  6. Perform 3-4 sets of 12-15 repetitions.
