How to perform this exercise

  1. Sit at the universal press machine dip station and adjust the seat so the handles are at hip level when seated.
  2. Grip the handles and sit upright with your feet flat on the floor.
  3. Press down on the handles to extend your elbows, lifting your body slightly off the seat.
  4. Squeeze your triceps at full extension, keeping your elbows close to your body.
  5. Slowly lower back to the starting position with control.
  6. Perform 3-4 sets of 10-12 repetitions.
