How to perform this exercise
- Sit facing the universal press machine low row station. Adjust the seat and chest pad so you can comfortably reach the handles.
- Grip the handles with an overhand or neutral grip.
- Sit tall with a slight forward lean and your chest against the pad if provided.
- Pull the handles back toward your torso, driving your elbows back and squeezing your shoulder blades together.
- Hold the contracted position briefly, then extend your arms back to the start with control.
- Perform 3-4 sets of 10-12 repetitions.
