How to perform this exercise
- Sit at the universal press machine lat pulldown station and secure your thighs under the pad.
- Reach up and grip the overhead bar or handles with a wide overhand grip.
- Sit upright with a slight arch in your lower back.
- Pull the bar or handles down toward your upper chest, leading with your elbows and squeezing your lats.
- Pause briefly at the bottom, then slowly extend your arms back overhead.
- Perform 3-4 sets of 10-12 repetitions.
