How to perform this exercise

  1. Sit at the universal press machine incline press station. The seat back is angled to direct pressing at an upward angle.
  2. Adjust the seat so the handles are at upper chest level.
  3. Grip the handles and press upward at the incline angle until arms are nearly extended.
  4. Focus on squeezing your upper chest at full extension.
  5. Return the handles to the starting position in a slow, controlled manner.
  6. Perform 3-4 sets of 10-12 repetitions.
