How to perform this exercise

  1. Stand or sit at the universal press machine low cable station and attach a straight bar or curl bar.
  2. Grip the bar with an underhand grip, hands shoulder-width apart.
  3. Keep your elbows tucked at your sides and stationary throughout the movement.
  4. Curl the bar upward toward your shoulders by flexing your biceps.
  5. Squeeze your biceps at the top, then slowly lower the bar back to the starting position.
  6. Perform 3-4 sets of 12-15 repetitions.
