How to perform this exercise

  1. Grip a pull-up bar with a wide overhand grip.
  2. Pull yourself up until your chin is above the bar.
  3. Shift your weight to one side, moving your chin toward that hand while the opposite arm extends.
  4. Traverse across to the other side, moving your chin toward the other hand.
  5. Lower yourself back to the starting position.
  6. Repeat the traversing movement for each rep.
