How to perform this exercise
- Anchor a resistance band to a low fixed object and loop it behind one knee.
- Stand facing the anchor with the band pulling the knee into slight flexion.
- Fully extend the knee against the band resistance.
- Hold briefly at full extension, squeezing the quad.
- Slowly allow the knee to bend back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions then switch sides.
