How to perform this exercise

  1. Sit in a leg press machine and place one foot in the center of the platform, hip-width centered.
  2. Keep the other leg off the platform or resting on the frame.
  3. Release the safety handles.
  4. Bend the working knee to lower the platform toward your chest.
  5. Press through the working heel to extend back to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions then switch sides.
