How to perform this exercise

  1. Sit at a seated cable row machine with feet flat on the platform.
  2. Grip a wide bar with an overhand grip, hands wider than shoulder-width.
  3. Pull the bar toward your upper chest/collarbone area, leading with elbows flaring wide.
  4. Squeeze your upper back and shoulder blades together at peak contraction.
  5. Slowly return to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
