How to perform this exercise

  1. Sit in the leg press machine and place your feet shoulder-width apart on the platform.
  2. Release the safety handles and lower the platform by bending your knees to 90 degrees.
  3. Press the platform away by extending your legs, stopping just short of locking out your knees.
  4. Lower the weight back down with control.
  5. Perform 3-4 sets of 10-15 reps.
