How to perform this exercise

  1. Sit in the seated calf raise machine and place the pads on your lower thighs just above your knees.
  2. Position the balls of your feet on the footrest with heels hanging off.
  3. Release the safety and lower your heels as far as possible.
  4. Push through the balls of your feet to raise your heels as high as possible.
  5. Lower with control for 3-4 sets of 15-20 reps.
