How to perform this exercise
- Stand with your heels on the edge of a step or flat on the floor, toes pointing forward.
- Raise the front of your feet (toes and ball of foot) off the floor as high as possible by contracting the tibialis anterior.
- Hold briefly at the top.
- Slowly lower back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
