How to perform this exercise

  1. Hold a barbell overhead with a wide snatch grip, arms fully locked out above your head.
  2. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
  3. Shrug your shoulders upward toward your ears, elevating the bar slightly.
  4. Hold briefly at the top, squeezing the upper traps.
  5. Lower your shoulders back to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
