How to perform this exercise

  1. Attach a V-bar or neutral-grip handle to the lat pulldown machine.
  2. Sit with thighs under the pad and grip the handle with palms facing each other.
  3. Pull the handle to your upper chest while driving your elbows down toward your hips.
  4. Squeeze your shoulder blades together at the bottom.
  5. Extend your arms overhead with control for 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps.
