How to perform this exercise

  1. Sit in a leg press machine and place your feet high on the platform, hip-width apart.
  2. Release the safety handles.
  3. Bend your knees to lower the platform toward your chest.
  4. Press through your heels to extend back to the starting position.
  5. The high foot position shifts emphasis to the glutes and hamstrings.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
