How to perform this exercise

  1. Place a resistance band just above your knees or around your ankles.
  2. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, slight squat position with knees bent.
  3. Step one foot out to the side against the band resistance.
  4. Follow with the other foot, maintaining the tension in the band.
  5. Walk a set number of steps in one direction then return.
  6. Keep your hips level and core braced throughout.
