How to perform this exercise
- Sit in the hip abductor machine with your back against the pad and legs inside the pads.
- Adjust the starting position so your legs are together or slightly narrower than hip-width.
- Push your legs outward against the resistance by contracting your outer glutes and hips.
- Hold briefly at the widest point.
- Slowly bring your legs back together for 3-4 sets of 12-15 reps.
