How to perform this exercise

  1. Stand holding a dumbbell in each hand in front of your thighs, palms facing your body.
  2. Explosively pull the dumbbells upward, leading with your elbows flaring out to the sides.
  3. Pull until your elbows reach shoulder height and the dumbbells are at collarbone level.
  4. Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
