How to perform this exercise
- Stand with feet significantly wider than shoulder-width apart.
- Shift your weight to one side, bending that knee into a deep squat while keeping the other leg straight.
- The foot of the straight leg stays flat or the toes point upward.
- Hold briefly at the bottom, feeling a stretch through the inner thigh of the straight leg.
- Press through the bent leg heel to return to the starting position.
- Alternate sides each rep.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions per side.
