How to perform this exercise
- Stand in the calf raise machine and place your shoulders under the padded yokes.
- Position the balls of your feet on the footplate with your heels hanging off the edge.
- Lower your heels as far as comfortable to get a full stretch.
- Rise onto your toes as high as possible, squeezing your calves at the top.
- Lower slowly back to the stretch position for 3-4 sets of 15-20 reps.
