How to perform this exercise

  1. Set a cable pulley to the lowest position and attach a straight bar or rope.
  2. Stand facing the machine, grip the attachment with both hands.
  3. Take a step back so there is tension in the cable.
  4. Hinge at the hips, pushing them back while keeping your back flat and the attachment close to your body.
  5. Lower until you feel a stretch in your hamstrings.
  6. Drive your hips forward to return to the starting position, squeezing your glutes.
  7. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
