How to perform this exercise

  1. Stand beside a cable machine with the pulley at the lowest setting.
  2. Grip the handle with the hand farthest from the machine.
  3. Raise your arm out to the side in a wide arc until your hand reaches shoulder height.
  4. Lower with control.
  5. Complete all reps on one side before switching for 3 sets of 12-15 reps.
