How to perform this exercise
- Attach a cuff to the low cable pulley and strap it around one ankle.
- Stand sideways to the machine with the cuffed ankle near the pulley.
- Hold the machine for balance.
- Keeping your leg straight, lift it directly out to the side as far as possible.
- Hold briefly at the top.
- Slowly lower back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions then switch sides.
