How to perform this exercise

  1. Set a cable pulley to face height and attach a rope.
  2. Grip each end of the rope and step back to create tension.
  3. Pull the rope toward your face while spreading the ends apart, externally rotating your shoulders.
  4. Elbows should be at shoulder height and flared out at the peak.
  5. Return slowly to the start for 3-4 sets of 15-20 reps.
