How to perform this exercise

  1. Set a cable pulley to the lowest position and attach a single handle.
  2. Stand facing the pulley, gripping the handle in one hand.
  3. Step back and lean slightly away from the machine, creating a stretch in the lat.
  4. Brace your core and row the handle toward your hip, keeping your elbow close to your body.
  5. Squeeze the lat at full contraction.
  6. Slowly return the handle to the starting position with a full arm extension and lat stretch.
  7. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions then switch sides.
