How to perform this exercise

  1. Set a cable pulley to the lowest position and attach a single handle.
  2. Stand with your back to the machine, grip the handle with one hand, palm facing up.
  3. Step forward so your arm is extended behind you creating a stretch in the bicep.
  4. Curl the handle forward and upward toward your shoulder.
  5. Hold briefly at the top.
  6. Slowly lower back to full arm extension.
  7. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions then switch sides.
