How to perform this exercise
- Place a barbell across your upper back as you would for a back squat.
- Stand in front of a bench and place the top of your rear foot on the bench.
- Lower your back knee toward the floor by bending the front knee.
- Keep your torso upright and front knee tracking over your toes.
- Push through your front heel to return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions then switch sides.
