How to perform this exercise

  1. Place a barbell across your upper back as you would for a back squat.
  2. Stand in front of a bench and place the top of your rear foot on the bench.
  3. Lower your back knee toward the floor by bending the front knee.
  4. Keep your torso upright and front knee tracking over your toes.
  5. Push through your front heel to return to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions then switch sides.
