How to perform this exercise

  1. Set the counterweight to the desired level on the assisted pull-up machine.
  2. Kneel or stand on the platform and grip the overhead handles.
  3. Pull yourself up until your chin clears the bar.
  4. Lower slowly to full arm extension for 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps.
