How to perform this exercise

  1. Grip a pull-up bar with a wide overhand grip.
  2. Pull your body toward one hand, bending that elbow while the opposite arm stays mostly straight.
  3. Pull until your chin passes the bent-arm side of the bar.
  4. Lower back to the starting position.
  5. Alternate sides each rep.
  6. Keep your body controlled throughout.
