Alternative

Lyfta alternative

Some apps win on the exercise demo: a clear picture of the setup, muscles, and path of the bar. Lyfta is in that conversation. A demo does not write down your sets. If you are choosing, separate 'I want to see the movement' from 'I want a training log'.

Library versus history

TrackYourLift's public library has a page per movement in the local database, with instructions and the muscles involved. Inside the app, Pro unlocks a larger library with instructions. Custom exercises cover the movement your gym invented.

The log is the part that compounds: sets, PRs, and charts. A beautiful demo of a lift you did not record is a video, and you already have YouTube for that.

Building the day, not only browsing it

Paste a YouTube workout, photograph a note, or photograph the equipment, and cloud AI drafts a program you can attach those exercises to. YouTube links and photos are sent to cloud AI. TrackYourLift does not run that model on your iPhone.

You can log weight and reps on Apple Watch. The Watch app needs the iPhone nearby. It is not a watch that stores the workout on its own and syncs later.

Are the exercise pages a substitute for coaching cues?

They are setup notes from the exercise database. They are not a coach watching your bar path.
