Train with friends, on the same plan
Training with a friend usually means a screenshot and a argument about whether you were supposed to do four sets. TrackYourLift is built so the plan itself can move from one account to another.
Send the program, not a photo of it
Share a program with a friend in the app, or with a link they can open. A link is meant for someone who does not have the app open beside you. Accepted programs land in their account, which is the point: they are not looking at your screen.
Each of you logs your own weights. Sharing a program does not share your PRs. That is a feature. Their squat is not your squat.
The week, not just the template
Your circle and the weekly ranks show who trained. They are a nudge, not a referee. Use them if accountability helps you show up. Ignore them if a leaderboard makes you rush sessions that were supposed to be heavy.
The how-to guides cover adding a friend and sharing step by step.
Can a friend use a different weight on the same program?
Yes. The program is the exercises and the prescription. The log is the weight each person actually lifted.
Does sharing require Pro?
Sharing and friends are part of the social features. Check the pricing page for what the free plan includes today. Pro is the optional upgrade, not a surprise second app.
