Barbell Row
The barbell row is a horizontal pull. Pendlay rows, Yates rows, and a standard bent-over row put the torso at different angles. The weight only compares when the position stays the same.
Pick a torso angle you can repeat. Standing taller to move more weight is a different exercise.
Pull toward the same landmark on the torso, then lower the bar under control.
Log straps or a belt in the note when you use them. They change what the set proves.
